The custom conical cloth filter feeds filtered air directly to the engine, while maintaining optimal intake velocity and minimizing turbulence found with many aftermarket intake systems.

2008-11-06 Tom .... overall the form and function of this filter is top notch. the deliberate design of velocity stack and airflow straightener directly into the MAF housing makes maintenance of the filter much easier as the entire filter element is easily accessible. Also the filter bolts up and works without needing an additional tune to compensate for any differences between it and the stock intake. Lets you hear the nice turbo spool up and bpv venting. All in all a great product.
2008-11-02 Sean .... I replaced the mazdaspeed intake on my car with the cobb intake. Very nice piece! I then made accomidations to use the maf housing and filter with my gt3071r.

2008-02-11 Kurt .... Easy install, great quality and craftsmanship. The only problem with this intake system is that it uses an oiled filter instead of a dryflow filter, which I would generally prefer. Fortunately Amsoil makes a universal dryflow filter that will fit over the air straightener / MAF housing. Highly reccomend this intake.
2008-02-09 Tejal .... If you are looking for that whoosh sound and improved performance this is it! Has a great boost in power and also allows you to actually hear your turbo! Great directions and easy install! No fear of hydrolocking with this also! Should be considered one of the top 3 mods!
2008-02-09 chris .... this is an amazing piece. very high quality and great craftsmanship. i was at first skeptical of a short ram intake opposed to a CAI, but thought id give it a shot because of the low end power everyone was talking about. they were right. this thing is amazing! the slightest touch of the throttle and it kicks in. a lot less turbo lag then stock, you can actually hear the turbo spool and the factory bov. very easy top install. i highly recommend this piece to everyone
