2010-10-09 Ardie .... Wow.....that should sum it up. Wheel hop is gone; period. Chirps a bit in first, but no real wheelspin issues. Much better bad weather traction as well. Car feels very tight. Shift feel is about the same, but no bobble or herky-jerky going into second anymore. Vibration definitely is to be reckoned with; not too bad when in motion, and it's really not as bad at idle or with the A/C on as I was lead to believe. Second full day, so after a month, probably won't even notice it. And yes, it actually DID deepen the exhaust, notably at startup and when letting off the gas at about 3750 rpm. Overall, a must have when modifying a front driver.

2009-01-12 Colin .... This mount is the bomb! Puts your MS3 into Beast Mode! The vibrations are real, and I love them! 1000 - 1500 RPM has newfound magic powers, with great little vibes to boot. It will even out over time, and the vibes aren't bad, but I honestly hope they don't go away. The shifting is awesome, the power is awesome, and I finally feel like my car is a beast. GET IT!
2008-11-04 Larry .... I bought the TRZ polyurethane dogbone mount for engine movement control. Excellent product: it really reduces engine movement significantly. There are some added vibrations at idle and first gear rollout with partial throttle, but very tolerable. Passengers seem to be unaware of the added vibrations. Installation is a 3 out of 10.

A worthwhile mod for the Speed3 owner.
2008-11-01 Evan .... I absolutely LOVE this thing!!! If you own a MS3, I highly recommend this be one of your first mods - its cheap but effective and has a very simple install.... as long as you have more than one jack - thanks Johnny for letting me risk my life ;)
I can feel my engine a little bit more but it softened up as I drove around more, and I am getting alot more of my Tq now instead of wasting it everytime I hit the gas. It even improved my traction - I dont chirp anymore when I take off!!

2008-10-31 Chris .... Easy install, shifting is much improved and less wheel hop. Great bang for the buck mod. Vibes are a little much for me but from what I understand will smooth out over time.
2008-10-31 Justin .... Excellent product. Installed two other mounts from another company at different stiffness levels and neither comes close to comparing to the feel of this. And the vibes at idle are really not all that bad. Well worth the money.
2008-10-23 Reagen .... I kept missing third gear, and I soon learned it wasn't exactly my fault. Turns out the engine was moving so much the linkage was getting pulled out of gear. After the 20 minute install of this mount, I never again have missed third. Not even racing on the track.
2008-09-25 Kevin .... I purchased the TRZ mount and shipped within 2 days! Install was a breeze besides me stripped the bolt. Once it was on the vibes are noticeable for about 1K miles, After that its almost like stock. Shifting now rocks!

2008-08-30 Julio .... This motor mount does stop the engine from moving during acceleration. The down side of the added vibration won't be as much of a problem after the mount is broken in. The vibes are still there, but definitely not as much as when it was first installed. I'm extremely happy with the performance of the mount.
2008-08-12 Evan .... I bought this motormount on a recommendation from a friend and now I just cant stop thanking him for telling me about it!!! I actually get more of my horses to the wheels now and I can feel a MAJOR difference!! The best part is that I dont accidentally spin the wheels while taking off anymore - they STICK now. By far, one of the best mods for a great price. I highly recommend it for anybody who wants to mod their car for a low price. Thanks to everybody at PG!!
2008-08-05 Cliffton .... Wit this new engine mount and the combination wit a short-shifter, u get great improvement in shifting. Mazda should take note of this, and apply it to all the new mazdaspeed 3s. Wheel-hop has ended, but cabin noise has risen. Its an even trade-off.
2008-08-02 Arthur .... So anyway, here's a small bit of my impressions post installation. Immediately starting up the car, the vibrations could be felt all through the cabin. I was expecting some, but not to this degree. After a week of driving they have diminished a good bit. The stock MS3 is plagued with a mushy shifter due to transmission movement between shifts. That is greatly improved and now I have to get used to shifting a bit quicker than I used to. I had a chance to gun it from a stop on the highway too. I don't like to straight out launch from a stop unless absolutely needed. What I usually do is take off for about 5-10 mph and then stab the throttle to let her rip. Well, with the stock mount, that would just lead to a combination of wheel spin/hop all the way to third gear if the wheels didn't catch traction. I tried that with the new mount, and didn't get any of that. The car just shot forward and chirped between gear changes. All in all, I would definitely say this is a worthwhile mod for the money spent. (less than $90).

P.S. It even seemed to deepen up the exhaust note in the car by an appreciable amount.
2008-07-27 Erich .... Major improvement over stock. Should be among the first round of modifications for anybody, no matter what their modification goals are.

2008-03-24 Charles .... Pros:
1. Reduce movement from engine and tranny, which improves shifting.
2. Reduce wheelhop, improves traction. A more planted feel overall.
3. Changes your exhaust tone, in a good way. Sound more aggressive. Even on stock.
4. Vibration reduced after couple days of driving, well for me it did, but it still vibrates. Plus i kinda like the vibes, makes the car feel like beast.
5. Fairly easy to install.

Cons:
1. Vibrations, i got the poly mount and it is a little rough at first. Vibrations in the cabin in lower and mid rpms. Sometimes vibration can be heard through the center console.

All in all, the pros out weights the cons in my opinion. The main reason i got this was to improve shifting feel.
2008-02-29 Stefano .... I got the poly and install was pretty easy, two bolts and 30 mins of your time at most.. The vibes are not bad at all with the poly. I noticed a lot better throttle responce when you shift and when you just get on it. Wheel hop has also improved alot, great buy, I would recomend this to any MS3 owner..
2008-02-23 Matt .... installation using a lift and air tools took me less than 3 min. drivetrain torque is basically eliminated during launches and shifting, allowing power to be transfered directly and seamlessly to the wheels. extra vibration is transfered into the cabin but that was expected. installed along with twm shifter and bushings. shifting and throttle are much more crisp and responsive.
2008-02-16 James .... One of the best mods yet! On the car in 30 minutes. Lost the wheel hop in the higher rpm's and the shifts are better.
Ken's customer service was the best I experienced in a long time.
2008-02-14 Derek .... I bought the poly dogbone and I feel like I can drive the car 110% better! The shifts are much more crisp and precise. The added vibrations are not bad at all. The BEST $100 mod ever!
2008-02-11 Kurt .... The delrin option is good for track days, and does make a noticeable improvement, but I would not reccomend the delrin version for someone who doesn't plan on taking their car to the track. Fortunately the install takes about 10-15 minutes so it is easy to swap in and out.
2008-02-10 Jonathan .... I opted for the race style delrin mount and I love it, but you do have some incabin vibrations. I've only had it on my car for about 300 miles, so that is no 'break-in' period, if needed. It does stop the engine from moving and help with my hard 2nd to 3rd gear shifts. Good product, good build.
2008-02-09 Tejal .... Replaced my inserts with the dog bone due to still having alot of engine movement when accelerating or letting of the gas. It solved that problem but vibes considerably in cold weather (30 degrees or lower) At around 60 or 70 degrees or above this mount is great! Power seems to flow as soon as you hit the pedal! Easy to install takes about 20 min!
2008-02-09 david .... This mount is awesome. Improves shifting considerably over stock seems to have less engine movement during shifts. Slight increase in vibration and road noise, but the pros outweight that. I don't think I can go back to the oem mount after using this one.
2008-02-09 chris .... i love this thing! i wasn't sure about this upgrade because everyone was complaining about the vibrations. for one they're really not that bad at all. it makes your car feel a lot meaner, and the performance is amazing. all the power goes to your wheels and eliminates pretty much all the wheel hop. 5 outta 5 stars!
2007-12-04 Gerald .... The Poly mount is awesome!! Definitely improves delivery of power to the wheels and greatly reduces wheel hop!! After driving with this mount (Poly version) for about 1,000 miles, I have to say the vibrations have reduced...but they are still there; its more of a matter of getting used to it. This mount will definitely introduce vibrations to your car; during A/C usage, operating the engine +4,000 RPMs, and during startup. Though I don't mind the start up vibes, its awesome!!

Definitely get this mount if you track your car in autocross, drag racing, or track events...

I gave it a 4 due to the vibes...though it is expected. Performance wise its a 10!!!!
2007-10-30 Lance .... I was disappointed with the 'big-end' bushing design on this mount. The actual poly bushing is, at most, 3/16" thick, and nearly solid, allowing very little travel. The good news is that after a week the ridiculous amount of vibration has gone down somewhat, but the mount could be redesigned with a slightly larger big end and a bigger bushing while still providing a much more rigid mount than the factory garbage. It could be also be designed so that it has less resistance to the engine traveling in the reverse-direction, which would help vibration at idle and not affect overall travel when hard on the throttle.
2007-10-23 steven .... best mount available today. Best performance for the money. I have the prototype race model and would recommend it to anyone. i have about 5000 miles on it and its only getting better and better as it breaks in.
2007-10-07 Sean .... Took about 20 minutes to install. If you asked me to do it with one hand, it may have taken about 30 seconds longer. It was that simple. Quality looked great and results were as I expected.
2007-09-09 Shane .... I have a prototype version of this mount and it's been problem-free for about 2500 miles now. It's more than held up to the abuse I've given it and I'm sure will continue to do so. I definitely recommend this mount. Great product for the price..
2007-09-09 Neil .... I have one of each mount and can say the quality on both is top notch. Vibrations are not as bad as expected either. Best mount out there.... by far.
